It is the time of the year when schools are thinking about their Profile Assessments, in order that they are ready for submission in June.  In the EYFS there have been numerous and significant changes to assessment.  The need for external moderation has been removed. Despite this there still remains a requirement for moderation within schools, and between schools.

Being school based, I have been at the forefront of the changes.  I have supported various EYFS teams so that, despite the changes, they continue to achieve accurate assessments.  Being Profile Moderation Manager for over 10 years for a large LA, I have a thorough knowledge of the principals and purposes of EYFS Profile Assessment.  All this means that I am well placed to support schools in adapting to the new EYFS Profile Assessment, and adapting to the new moderation regime.
